La Quinta Queenstown

My favourite part of staying here was waking up to having the perfect views of snow covered mountains everyday from my room at LaQuinta. The rooms are decently sized for a couple, comfy beds and pillows to sleep after days of exploring and our bed was made everyday by the staff which was great. We were lucky to get outdoor parking for the length of our stay however it may get tight during peak season as it is on a first come first serve basis. Although that being said, there is a paid parking option just behind the property which makes it very convenient to find a spot without walking too far. Good value for money stay :)

The staff Kalai and Denise is awesome and make me feel like home and if not because of them I would have make complaint and want my money back

Very new and modern. Big room and could see snow covered mountain from my bed even though on first floor but it will prob be built out. Small ‘cafe’ downstairs to buy a snack or a meal to heat in microwave. Loved that there was no buildings in front so I easily walk to dark space to see the Aurora.

The Kitchenette was just the right size for making breakfast. Although there is some issue with the electric connections as every time we used the toaster, the fuse went off. Had to reset every time. Bathroom was equipped with the full sized washer and drier which was such a relief, as we had collected a lot of dirty linen and we didn't have to go a outside Laundry location. All in all a well thought of room with just the right amenities for a weary traveler. Location is close to city and airport. Located Just in front of Mountains which provides a great place to take your selfies and enjoy the scenery. During our stay it snowed overnight on the peaks, which certainly added to the beauty around this place.

The room was very spacious and the reception staff very welcoming. There is a well stocked little store in the foyer for anyone needing food or drink which we did use, however, be prepared for the items to be expensive. As our flight had been cancelled, the hotel was nearby the airport which was good although from the airport to the hotel we had to get a taxi due to weather and an injury. It is only about a km in distance and as the taxi trip was expensive for that very short distance ($37) I would advise anyone to walk if they can.
